| Welcome to our school website. I hope you find it easy to use and provides you with lots of interesting and relevant information about our school. |
| I have been Headteacher at Green Park since September 2004 and have taken great pleasure in watching the school grow and improve throughout this time. The school has several awards for excellence; the Healthy Schools Standard, a National Training Award and Investors in People award which recognises the effort that is made by pupils, parents, staff and Governors to improve year on year. |

At Green Park School, we aim to provide a warm caring environment in which children can learn and grow. Our staff have chosen to work with children with special needs and many have taken additional training in the various specialist fields of special education. We offer a committed and professional team dedicated to assisting learners to reach their full potential.

| We celebrate the achievements of all pupils creating a positive and stimulating learning environment which motivates children and engages them in learning. Highly tailored and personalised programmes are set in partnership with parents to address individual learner’s needs. We have a rich variety of learning experiences to prepare pupils for life in the wider world. Pupils are taught both individually and in small groups, using a wide variety of teaching and learning styles so that we can blend pupil’s personal needs with their educational targets. |
