The Careers and Enterprise Company exists to facilitate a world-class careers education, inspiring and preparing young people for the world of work.Every young person deserves the best possible start to their working life; to choose their path, fulfil their potential and contribute to a thriving economy. Careers and enterprise education inspires, informs and immerses young people in the ever-changing world of work. Over recent years, we have established the foundations of a new approach to long-standing issues affecting the quality and availability of careers education for young people across England. Our work began with a transformative employer-led programme to connect business with education. Today, we support schools and colleges to deliver world-class careers education, responsive to individual pupil needs and underpinned by the internationally recognised Gatsby Career Benchmarks.

Connexions
Connexions is an impartial information, advice and guidance service which is part of the Skills team at Wolverhampton City Council. We support young people, along with their parents/carers, with making choices in life and making the transition to adulthood. We can work with young people with special education needs and disabilities until the age of 25 and can make referrals to other services after that age. We are client focussed and support our young people with choosing education and training options, developing independence and accessing support to barriers to achievement, exploring jobs and working life, volunteering and work experience, accessing community projects and leisure activities.
Enable - Supported Employment
Wolverhampton Disability Employment Service offers a wealth of guidance and support to individuals with disabilities that want to gain paid employment. They have a team of trained employment specialists who assist clients in the job searching and application stages of their journey and through to employment, for as long as required. Enable continues to support individuals when they start a job through time unlimited job coaching support.
